Release 5 is out - Stage redesigns, no new adult content


It was about damn time I did some stage work, especially on stage 2. The old stage has been thrown out in the trash for a completely new one. I've also created a new stage 3 and bumped the old one forward to be stage 4 now, which has also received an update, hopefully making it a better experience.

The tilesets are still ugly as sin and one music is being reused for the new stage 3. This release is meant mostly to get some feedback on the stages, since I suppose some people want to enjoy the simple platforming action.

Anyway, for the next release I'll focus on visuals and add a new enemy with a big shield

Changelog

  • Stage 2 has been completely reworked
  • A brand new Stage 3
  • The old Stage 3 has been reworked and bumped forward, becoming Stage 4
  • The "Quit Game" button from the pause menu has been removed when playing from the browser

Some bugs I'm aware of:

  • Any platform with 2+ enemies patrolling, the enemy closer to the ledge might get stuck, making both of them stop their patrol
  • On Stage 3, if one of the first kobolds faints below the spawner (cave-thing), the spawning kobolds will "float" in the air, due to the "same object type" collision acting as a platform.

Good to see that more content is being added, even if it's not adult content for this update
